Hello,
I need help to connect an NC210 to ISpy. I can use the low resolution stream at http://admin:YWRtaW4=@CAMERA_IP:8080/stream/video/mjpeg. But this is 640x480.
The HiRes stream at http://admin:YWRtaW4=@CAMERA_IP:8080/stream/video/h264?resolution=hd (1280x720) refuses to display complaining about the credentials.
I've tried with different passwords but with no success. Also tried VLC with basically the same result.

Any help on getting this HRes stream to work would be appreciated.

Best regards,
CAM

May I ask where do you get the path of: http://admin:YWRtaW4=@CAMERA_IP:8080...?resolution=hd (1280x720) . I ever consult support and them told me there is no path for NC210

If I open the TPlink Camera Control app no my pc and run wireshark at the same time, I can see the stream being accessed. the "admin:YWRtaW4=" was my extrapolation since it works on the low res stream. I cannot access the stream using this credentials, even though they work on the low-res stream.

I don't really understand the support saying "there is no path for NC210". The low res "path" is easily accessed through VNC for example. And, again, the high res stream can be seen with wireshark.

best regards

After a little more digging with wireshark, it appears that the authentication for the high-resolution stream is encrypted using md5 hash instead of the usual base64. The md5 authentication is a multi-step hashing mechanism and that makes me believe there is no (easy) way to access the stream using ISpy or VLC; it seems the stream can only be accessed by the TP-link application which is a real shame and is NOWHERE in the documentation.
It seems tp-link is out of my shopping list....
Please someone, prove me wrong.
Best regards
