My smart plug works fine with the Kasa app but I'd like to connect to the Google home app on my iPhone. None of the instructions I found seem to be for iPhones. Can anyone help?

Thanks for the link.

I think I might know what the problem is:


I don't actually have a google home speaker. I just wanted to use the app instead of the KASA app.
According to the link you sent it looks like you need a google home speaker in order to use the app.
Or is it possible without the speaker in some way?

you need it, otherwise you can only use kasa app
