I’d like to suggest a feature enhancement for Tapo cameras — specifically the ability to upload custom alarm sounds.

Currently, the only workaround for using a custom sound is to manually record audio, but this method also captures unwanted background noise. As a result, it's difficult to use clean, intentional sounds like soft chimes, short tones, or voice clips for alerts.

Having the option to upload a clean .mp3 or .wav file via the app would make the alarm system more flexible and user-friendly. It would allow users to tailor alerts to their environment — whether they prefer gentle chimes for person notifications or something more attention-grabbing in case of an intruder. I myself want to have my C500 camera play a chime audio I have when a person is detected to let them know they are being recorded.

This small addition could significantly improve the user experience for those looking for a quieter, more elegant alert system.
