False detections

Hi, since the last firmware update on my D235 video door bell the movement detection has suffered regular night time false alarms for no apparent reason, I have reduced the sensitivity to 1 but it hasn't made any difference, when it happens the detection box takes up nearly all of the screen for a split second, unfortunately the detection box is not being saved to the downloaded file so little point in attaching it to this. It was working fine prior to update.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated?

Hi
The tape on the LED didn't help even though I applied several layers of electrical insulation tape. I decided to swap the parking arrangements and moved my vehicle to the place which had been occupied by wife's BMW Mini, so far this has proved succesful with no further false alarms even after increasing the sensitivity to 3??? Just further justifacatioon for my dislike of BMWs and Minis? My wife's choice definatly not mine.
So all very strange, but it does mean that she dosn't have to struggle turning her car around which is definately a risky bussiness with her driving😂.
Thanks for your help, I'll send you the bill when she manages to reverse her car in to the garage😒.
Regards
Kevin

Is the doorbell hardwired or battery-powered?

The D235 is hard wired, I have also included a screen grab of my detection zones.
Thanks for your help.

Are all the false detections triggered by motion detection? I think it is likely caused by the flashing lights on the car. Please try to update the activity zone of the motion detection to exclude the area where the vehicle (the light) is located, then observe whether the issue persists.

Hi Wayne,
Yes all of the false detections are flaged as motion. I have moved the detection zones as advaised, I assume you mean the red flashing alarm light on the vehicle dash? Having monitored the triggers for the last few days and nights I can confirm that the false detections are still happening, mainly at night with the occasional one during daylight hours. As previously advised this has only started since the last firmware update, the vehicle has been typically parked in this spot since we moved here 1.5 years ago. What is strange is that when the detection is false the orange detection zone always takes up the same right 80 pecent or so of the screen. I am going to put some tape over the flashing alarm light to totally rule it out, and will let you know if that fixes the issue.
