Running er605 with a tp link switch and 225, 245s and  one 610 the oc200.

The controller says everything is connected and running but it seems that I can only connect to the 610.

All firmware is up to date as well

I have fast roaming turned on and mesh turned off.. not sure what else to do. I’ve ran the optimization tuning 5 times and it doesn’t seem to work.

Any advice would be appreciated

Hi  @Joeyhall7

I understand you're having trouble with your ER605, TP-Link switch, EAPs (225, 245, and 610), and OC200 setup. It sounds frustrating that everything appears connected in the controller, but you can only connect to the EAP610. Let's try to troubleshoot this and get your network working properly.

Here are a few things we can investigate:

**1. Channel and Power Settings:**

*   **Check Channel Settings:**

 Ensure your EAPs are on different, non-overlapping channels.  In the 2.4GHz band, use channels 1, 6, and 11.  For 5GHz, try to use channels that are spaced apart (e.g., 36, 44, 48, 149, 153, 157, 161).  The OC200 should allow you to configure this.  Avoid using "Auto" channel selection, at least for troubleshooting, as it can sometimes cause issues.
*   **Power Levels:**

Experiment with adjusting the transmit power of your EAPs.  Sometimes, too much power can actually *reduce* performance due to interference. Try setting them to Medium or even Low, especially if the EAPs are close to each other.

**2. Check the OC200's Configuration:**

**Wireless Settings:** What's the security type of the SSIDs? Is it for wifi6 only? Please change it to none, or WPA-Personal to have a try.

**3. EAP Placement and Interference:**

*   **Physical Obstructions:**

Consider the physical placement of your EAPs. Are they obstructed by walls, metal objects, or other sources of interference? Try repositioning them if necessary.
*   **Interference Sources:**

 Look for potential sources of interference, such as microwave ovens, cordless phones, Bluetooth devices, or neighboring Wi-Fi networks.

**4. Network Topology and VLANs:**

*   **VLAN Configuration (If Applicable):**

If you're using VLANs, verify that the EAPs and the devices trying to connect are on the correct VLANs and that the VLANs are properly configured on your TP-Link switch and ER605.
*   **IP Address Conflicts:**

Although the OC200 shows everything is connected, double-check that there are no IP address conflicts on your network.

**5. Troubleshooting Steps:**

*   **Forget the Network and Reconnect:**

On the devices having trouble connecting, try forgetting the Wi-Fi network and then reconnecting, entering the password again.
*   **Reboot Everything:**

A simple reboot can often resolve temporary glitches.  Reboot the ER605, TP-Link switch, OC200, and all EAPs, in that order.  Wait a few minutes between each reboot.
