Model: Tapo C225
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.12

After the latest update, both of my c225 cameras keep dropping the rtsp connection about every 5 minutes. Often simultaneously. They become unreachable for a few seconds and then the connection is restored. One was already a bit unstable on v1.11 , so it has a now a remote power switch which i had to use about once a week. But now the good, stable one is completely unreachable after misbehaving for three days. I now wish i could downgrade them to 1.11 again.

I also have two c610 outdoor cameras which are working fine. (They are all streaming to the same nvr app on a linux server)

Hi,
Please confirm the following information for the reported issue.

  1. Do you have a disconnect issue on the Tapo app? What's the LED status on the camera when it loses internet connection or RTSP connection?
  2. When the camera is working, please go to the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Device Info page, tap the Wi-Fi icon, and check the RSSI value.
  3. What's the model number of your router? Please describe your network diagram in detail.

Best Regards
