Firmware Version: 1.1.3 Build 240523 Rel.175054

Dear TP-Link Support Team,

I am a user of the Tapo P110 smart plug indian version and appreciate its energy monitoring features. However, I noticed that there is no option to set a daily energy usage limit in kWh, nor an automatic shutdown feature when a specific consumption threshold is reached.

Adding the ability to define a daily energy consumption limit and automatically turning off the plug when that limit is exceeded would be highly beneficial. This feature would help users manage their electricity usage more efficiently and prevent unnecessary power consumption.

Could you let me know if such a feature is planned for future firmware updates? If not, I would like to request it as a potential enhancement.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,

Tejas Raj

Just to enhance the request, it would be even better if the automation can include a trigger when the usage is above or below thresholds (similar to how temperature thermometer works).

This will then allow significant flexibility of actions when a threshold is met, I.e. turn plug off, send notifications, etc...
