HVIN: Tap D235 Tapo TD25
Install several months ago went like a charm -- no problems. Now I've changed routers and have been trying to find the directions, but no matter what I do the indicator light only flashes red -- never the alternating red/green as shown in the directions. I've made sure the device is well charged and I do hear messages like "power on" and "power off", but the light still blinks red no matter what I do. How should I proceed?

If there is an sd card, remove it and try to do the reset again. If the problem still exists, this device needs to be replaced, you contact the local support team to proceed with the warranty.

Did you reset the doorbell? Press and hold the SYNC/RESET button for about 5s, the doorbell is resetting when the led indicator turns to blinking red quickly.

@Wayne-TP Yes, I've repeatedly tried the reset without effect. I did find a post/note elsewhere that holding it down for 10s might also reboot, but that didn't work either. The device has been blinking orange now for over 24hrs.
