Model: Tapo H200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Latest at 04/02/2025

Hi
I bought a set composed of one Hub H200 and four C420 cameras a few days ago.
I live in the countryside in a small isolated house.
I've positioned all four cameras outside to make them cover all the perimeter.

I have tryed a lot of positions for the H200 but there is any inside the house in which it works properly with all the cameras contemporary!

So I decided to buy another H200 to split the cameras control.

As just as the second H200 arrived I did the very same procedure I did for the first one to connect it to the app (already installed on my phone and already working with the first H200).
I connected both the H200 and the phone to my router, I looked for the new hub in the app, I've found it, I added it, the system automatically update the firmware to the latest version, I completed the set up... but when the app returned to the main page, the new hub icon remained displayed for a few seconds and then disappeared and was no longer present anywhere; I tried the configuration again, but everything was as before: everything was fine for a few seconds and then the icon of the second H200 disappeared.
In one of the attempts I tried to enter from the icon before it disappeared and it gave me problems connecting to the modem even if it was connected via cable!
In all this the LED always remained orange.
Obviously I also tried several times to restart and reset the H200, but always without success.
So my question is whether it is possible to connect two H200s to the same network?
And again, is it possible that the second H200 I received is defective?
Please help me, if possible before I return everything!
Thanks, Marco

Solid orange led means the H200 is connected to the router but not to the cloud, indicating remote control failure.

Make sure your phone is connected to the same network as the hub, then you should be able to see it in the Tapo app.

- Disable mobile data.

- Turn off VPN if any.

- If you have a big network that has multiple subnets, make sure the phone connects to the same subnet as the hub.

- Force-close the app and re-open it.

When you manage to see the H200 locally in the app, then you can refer to the suggestions here in Case 2 for the remote control failure issue. Cannot use the Tapo app to control my smart devices

Hi, thanks for support
But I already have done all of these steps
I have a LTE modem (Tp-link MR600) and my phone automatically connect to it when I'm home, and of course I've checked it before installing the new H200.
The problem is that the configuration goes well until the end, the phone sees the hub, the hub sees the phone, all the steps are accepted, in fact in the end a new icon of the new H200 appears next to that of the first H200 already installed and working. The point is that this second icon remains displayed in the app for a few seconds and then disappears and with it the entire configuration of the new hub!
It almost seems like it conflicts with the H200 already installed on the same network!
I say this because then I did a test with a "borrowed" modem (so another internet connection), and with this the second H200 installs without problems on the app present in my phone in which the other H200 is already installed.
So I repeat the question; can two (or more) H200s be installed on the same home network? If so, how should I proceed?
