Firmware Version: 1.04 and 1.0.11

Hi there,

I have both camera's here to compare and honoustly i like the c500 the most, because i can use it in- and outdoor if i want and the flash light is much brighter.

But imo the volume of the alarm of the C225 is much louder than the c500. Can someone agree on that? And is there a way to get it the same or louder? The louder the better :).

Hope someone can help me out.

Hi,
On the Tapo app > camera's Live View > Talk page, tap the icon at the top right corner, adjust the camera's speaker volume to maximum, and then check if the alarm volume of the camera will be louder.
Best Regards

@Solla-topee yes they are both on the highest level.

Edit: sorry I just realize that this might not be the same as the alarm volume. I will check it later on and let you know.

Hi,
1. Please check if the holes on the speaker of Tapo C500 are blocked. If so, clean them first.

2. The sound effects heard during the test may be different if the cameras are placed in different environments. Please try to put the Tapo C225 and Tapo C500 in the same room and same place, then compare the sound effects and send us a video showing the test results for analysis.

Best Regard

@Solla-topee Holes aren't blocked. The camera's are in the same room next to each other. I think the c225 just have a better speaker or louder firmware option. Anyhow here is your video, i doubt if its ok for analyzing.
