Hi TAPO,
It would be useful to have a longer 'Record Buffer' option in the Clip Settings.
Currently 10 seconds in the max possible. Often as someone walks off after triggering a camera it would be useful to see what they do/where they go on their way out!

The motion sensor is quite limited in my experience so turns the camera off too soon for me.
I've included a screen-grab of the setting I'm referring to.
I appreciate it will use more battery. But as the app 'allows' longer clips I can't see why this Record Buffer can't have the option to record for longer as the Maximum Clip Length will still override.

Thanks.

Hi,
The Record Buffer function sets the length of time the camera will record after the motion is no longer detected rather than the length of time the camera will record after it detects motion. You may not be able to see what the monitored person is doing or where they are going with a longer record buffer time.

@Solla-topee Hi, Yes that's how I thought it works.
At the moment the camera cuts off when someone has triggered my camera and is walking away down my drive etc.
By allowing the camera to capture more video after motion is no longer detected would mean I can see where my visitors go. At the moment I see them walking away and the video cuts off, I want the option to continue capturing video after the sensor has stopped detecting movement (for longer than the 10 seconds currently allowed) as they are still on my property but the sensor can't detect them.
Thanks.

Hi,
Thank you for your detailed description. However, if the camera can't detect the motion within the activity zone, it's suggested to start a new thread here for troubleshooting.

Hi   @Solla-topee
I don't think that's the issue.

I've optimised my camera angles etc. (as advised here) and turned up all my sensitivity settings to the max.
A person walking down my drive is picked up approx a couple of car lengths away. I think this is normal reading about my cameras (C420).
As my drive is about 25m long, when the person is walking away the camera stops recording normally before they have left my property. Especially if they stop further down the drive to look at things.

You have a 'Record Buffer' setting, I'm just asking if this could have the option to be increased as I think it would be helpful to people in my circumstances.
Thanks.
