C110, C120, C200, C210 Home/Away detection and notification shortcut for different houses or rooms
It makes no sense that this basic shortcut feature for detection and notification settings isn't supported for different houses or rooms. Many people with one tp-link account, will have more than one set of cameras in different locations or rooms.
Usage Scenario 1: Let us say parents have setup cameras in the basement of a house and want to watch if the children go into the basement. If the parents want to manage all the detection settings for all the cameras in the basement room they have to change the camera detection settings one by one or for all the cameras in the house at the same time and there is no shortcut to change all the detection settings for just the cameras in the basement room. You can't setup the cameras detection settings in the basement room to be away and the cameras detection settings in the rest of the house to be home by a shortcut.
Usage Scenario 2: A person will leave their house and go to the office and should have the ability to set the detection settings for their house or for a group of cameras to away. When they get to the office they can set their office cameras to home mode. When they leave the office they can set their office cameras to away. When the go to their house they can set their house cameras to home. Now if you have cameras in two different locations, you have to set the detection settings all at once or one by one. This is impossible now to manage cameras setup in different locations or rooms unless there is a shortcut option to setup detection settings by a group of cameras. This smart action shortcut option exists for privacy mode, but not for detection and notification settings. How about people who have setup cameras in their office, home office, those with a holiday house, a seperate garage, outside storage room etc?
The only solution for the usage scenarios above is to have two phones, with two tp-link accounts, even though there is only one owner of Tapo cameras in different houses or rooms. Please include this basic feature that should be a part of the shortcut options to group camera detection settings for different houses or rooms.
