Size of Tapo C120 camera DC connector
I'm going to buy the Tapo C120 camera, and I need to drill the wall for the DC cable to run inside the house. Can anybody please tell me what the minimum diameter should I drill?
Many thanks!

Hi,
There are 2 types of USB power cables connected to Tapo C120, if you want to drill the wall for the power cable to run inside the house, one with a minimum size of 12.4*6.5mm and one with a minimum size of 19*8mm.
The specific size depends on the USB cable of the Tapo C120 you purchased.
Best Regards

Since my previous camera (a C520WS) has a small jack-type connector, I thought that the C120 was the same. I didn't expect a USB-C connector, which is larger, but fortunately Japanese woodden houses are made with butter and opening a 12mm hole is a joke.
The real problem was the 3m power cable. Why so short? Wouldn't it be more suitable for most installations to provide at least the double of that length and a slightly more powerful AC adapter?

Hi,
If your camera usage scenario is not convenient to connect the camera to a power supply, please check if there are battery-powered cameras that are more suitable for you.
