Hey, as already discussed in the following thread, the Matter and Cloud devices are displayed twice in Google Home for me. However, you can't "remove" them by adding them to the same room. Is there any way to solve this in the meantime?

Best wishes,

What Tapo Matter device do you have? Are they placed in the same room in the Google Home App?

Make sure the Tapo App, Google Home App, and the Google Hub system software are updated. Which Google (Matter) hub do you use?

My TP Link Matter Product is a Kasa KH100 with 4x Kasa KE100, 1x Tapo T315 and 1x Tapo S200B.

Yes they are placed in the same room. Google writes that the manufacturer must send certain information so that the devices are deduplicated. Maybe that's it? Here is a link to the topic: https://developers.home.google.com/matter/device-deduplication

Tapo App is Version 3.7.113

Google Home is Version 3.24.1.4

Google Hub Software is not possible to Update manually (?) and Version unknown

My Google Matter device is a Google Home (the first Smart Speaker from Google on the Market)
