Tapo C720 - How to convert this to a normal power plug?

Hi Just bought this smart camera, only realizing on only a normal power point in my roof.
Is there way to put it on a normal power plug?
Thanks

Hi,
The Tapo C720 can only be powered by the electric wires and it can't be powered by a normal power plug/adapter.
For the Tapo C720, you can refer to the QIG to install it.

Hi,
We recommend connecting the electric wires to the C720 as per the QIG to power the camera.
I can't ensure if a 2-prong DC power adapter can power the camera and make it work, however, please note that the Input Voltage of the camera is 110-240 V, 50/60 Hz, and when connecting the camera to the power adapter, you may be unable to mount the camera properly.

@solla-topee
That's very disappointing design given that i have no other mains power for the device without having to arrange an electrician to pull a new cable from the mains when there is already a power port in the roof.
I may have to reconsider another product, as this doesn't seem have any flexibility in its design to accommodate other circumstances.
Thanks

Hi,
Different cameras may be suitable for different usage scenarios. If the Tapo C720 is not suitable for you, you can consider other Tapo outdoor cameras.

Gday
it's easy!
The pins it has are the correct width for those 3 prong computer power cables.
Just plug it in and go

A 5metre cable from Jaycar was all that was needed.
