Thermostat power display
Power status on the app does not seem to reflect the status of the valve!
I'm finding that whenever I reduce the temperature using the app or manually, the valve will close but the app will still show powere on. Is this normal? If so, it seems illogical and confusing. If not, what could be the explanation and solution?

The KE100 valve will only be fully closed when set to "Sleep mode - Fully closed". When reducing the temperature, the thermostat valve will decrease its opening ratio, allowing less hot water to flow through the pipes. Conversely, when the temperature is raised, the valve’s opening ratio will increase, more hot water will pass through.
Additionally, this device has frost protection, when turning off KE100 in the Kasa app, the valve enters frost protection mode, which help to maintain the temperature at a set minimum level (min: 5℃) to prevent the pipes from freezing.

In Kasa app, you see "Heating to XX°C" even if this target value is lower than measured and the valve is actually closed. But Tapo app in such situation would display "Heating inactive" or something similar, accurately. If you already added all devices to Kasa app, then in Tapo app you just need to sync accounts in settings. It has more compact UI, too.
By the way, heating status is also incorrectly reported via Matter:

Also I do not confirm the above information that the valve does not completely close when there's no heat demand (target temperature lower than measured). It does. Otherwise I would have returned these TRV's as not working properly.

@Trobalabau haha yeah exactly. Of course they fully close, and that is reported on the temperature history chart, when you move over specific point in time, it will show "orange" icon when it was really "heating" and gray icon when it what closed. No idea why this cant be shown on the main valve page or on the list. I would love to see which valves are open at the moment and to what degree (in %). I will post separate feature request for that maybe...
you can vote here if you want to see some more info on valves as I do :)
