Kasa bulb is not connectig to  the wifi, it shows on the app as offline. I have tried a soft rest, the bulb flashes 3 times; I have tried a hard rest, the bulb flashes 5 times; I have tried re-seting in a different socket; I have tried resetting the wifi on my smart phone. I have deleted and re-installed the app.

 

The bulb stays illuminated, but at evry stage 'clicking' on the bulb button on the app results in the dialogue box "Device Unreachable- Your device may be powered off or out of network range." We are in a small house and the bulb has worked well until a recent power cut.

 

Nothing works.

 

The smart plug is working through the app normally.

What's the model of your kasa smart bulb? Did you reconfigure the device after resetting it? Did the configuration complete properly?
