It is disappointing there is no clear information on the compatibility of these two items. Customers are simply fooled by the company selling the concept of ecosystem. To me ecosystem exists if you ensure compatibility and connectivity, and this is not at all the case. I bought a whole bunch of Tapo devices to finally discover that H200 is useless and all devices can only work alone. You lost a customer.

 I just received a firmware update for the h200. I now can connect the hub as a connected doorbell. But unfortunately still no option to use the sd card from the hub as local storage.

It is crazy to imagine they bring a new product on the market which you can't connect to the hub. At least to save video's. Please fix this TP-link. This is just silly...

  @T-Mania thanks fantastic  so someone must have been listening 😀

That new H500 hub looks cool, might have to look into that when it's available.

Hi, did you set up both devices on the same network? And are they visible on the tapo app?

  @Wasbier

Hi yes same network. Even set up a new network on my router so it only sends the 2.4 signal.

Also tries a second router.

Did a full new installation after resetting both devices.

It shows both devices in the app. And i can see the settings etc from both devices. So they look like they work independent.

From de D235 doorbell when I go to storage a can select a hub but then i tells me it cant find any hub.

From the H200 i can go to connected devices. And there I can see the D235. I can also select the Hub as storage for the doorbell. And then it automatic selects the H200 as hub. But ontging is going to be saved on it when you test it. Also when you go back to connected devices and storage and you select the hub and and let it search for it. It wont be alble to find it.

In the D235 settings under network I can see that it is connected to the hub. It uses the same router network or the Hub as network.

When I want to ad a extra chime and choose for hub it also tells me there is no hub.

So I'm kind of lost what option I did not try.
