"Scan" does not find obvious AP's. Yes I'm in client mode.

My CPE710 does not find any AP's, even when I'm pointing it right at one. I'm in client mode, but I've tried all the other modes just in case. Once in a great while, it will find an AP that is far away. My laptop can find eight AP's easily.
Thx, tom.c

Please refer to this article Part I, Step 3:How can I set up the AP + Client topology successfully?
Please try to change the unit's location, as suggested in the article. Is your AP also model CPE710?

From the topo link you included, it appears that the CPE can only connect to another CPE via wifi.
Is that correct?

Yes, two CPE units connect via a wireless link. One should be set as AP mode, and the other as Client mode.
