What are the differences between V1.0 and V1.2 of KE100/KIT
Hi, I've realized that there are new hardware versions for KE100 and KE100KIT as of late 2023. So they are upgraded from V1.0 to V1.2. I've seen that there are new symbols on the thermostat (like connection and heating symbols).
- I'm interested into the hardware fixes applies to V1.2 since I'm hacing issues with K100 as I posted in this forum as well.
- I'd like to know if there is any hardware upgrade on the hub (KH100) provided in the KE100KIT?

Kasa KE100 Kit V1.2 has undergone slight adjustments in its hardware design. And three more adapters are included in the package, now 6 adapters in total in V1.2, highly enhancing the compatibility with a broader array of radiator valve types.
In terms of functionality, both versions are identical.
Kasa KE100 has an M30 × 1.5 connector, which is compatible with the majority of radiator valve threads.
If your connector is M30 x 1.5 or fits with the RA/RAV/RAVL adapters, there is no need to consider the difference between these two versions, they both work.
As the online shopping platforms (e.g. Amazon) do not label and cannot distinguish the hardware version of the product, if you happen to need one of the three adapters added in V1.2, I recommend purchasing the adapter yourself. Of course, if you are not afraid of trouble, you can check the hardware version marked on the product label first after receiving the goods and confirm whether it is a V1.2 before opening it.

@reis3k I have the same question.
I'm waiting to buy this kit https://uk.store.tapo.com/products/kasa-smart-thermostatic-radiator-valve-ke100-tkit?variant=43665964138736 but I'm waiting to find out if this is V1.0 or V1.2.
Does anyone from TP-Link monitor this forum?
Cheers,
