H100 hub Network Unstable error for weeks
Hi,
I setup my KE100 kit (hub and thermostat) no problems months ago, added 3 more thermostats and a smart window sensor.
For the last 3 weeks, I've gotten the error in the app "Network Unstable". I have tried uninstalling the app, reinstalling it and adding all devices agian from scratch with no luck.
The setup the hub through the app, everything seems to work well, I get through the wifi connectivity to the device fine, I connect the hub to my main wifi (copy/paste wifi to make sure there is no typing error) and it checks for firmware and says no updates.
I can see the device connected to my Google Nest Pro 6e Wifi on the 2.4ghz channel, so I know it sees the wifi just fine. But the app keeps telling me the network is unstable and the hub is greyed out.
The light on the hub is solid blue.
I want to get other devices but am now not convinced since these errors don't seem to go away.
Thanks for any input.

This appears to be an anomaly in the remote management of the device.
Please check if any settings on your router might block the internet access of the Kasa hub, such as access control (blacklist/ whitelist), parental control, AD blocking service (e.g. AdGuard, pi-hole), etc.
What's the model and Android version of your phone? Have you tried to login Kasa App on a different mobile device?

The problem seems to have resolved it self after I setup the Smart Hub using the Kasa App on my Android tablet. Once I did that, my Kasa app on my Pixel phone also started working and showing everything properly.
I have no idea what happened to make it fail.
Thanks for the input, however.

Does this error appear on your Kasa or Tapo App? What's the version of the App?
Do you own a Kasa KH100 hub, or the Tapo H100 hub?
Please share a screenshot of the error here.

I did not know there was a Tapo App, I was prompted by the setup instructions to use the Kasa app, so that's what I'm using. The app version is 3.3.550 for Android. There are no updates from the Play Store available.
The screenshot is attached. It does not show the Smart Hub because I tried to even connected to a different wifi (a mobile hot spot) and it still did not work.

There is no blocking setup on the router. There is port forwarding for a different device but that has been setup for more than 6 months and has not change.
I did not change anything else on the router (Google Nest Wifi Pro 6e) and all of my other IoT things from other manufacturers are working (vacuum, air purifiers, camera, non-TP smart plug).
What specifically should I look for on the router?
I did not yet try another device, I will do then when I am back at home.

Are you saying you have done a full re-configuration with the tablet after factory resetting the kasa hub (and its client devices)?

After I installed the Kasa app on my tablet, I put the hub into Sync Mode and connected it to the app. I did get the message to keep the configuration or not. I choose to keep it, however I had previously (from my phone) reset the hub so there were no connections to it at that time.
The hub showed connected and I could even press the "ring" function in the app and hear the hub ring.
After that, I opened the (previously existing) Kasa app on my phone and voila, the hub was there and connected. Then I proceeded to connect to each thermostat and the window/door sensor manually. Everything has worked since.
