Hi,

 

Trying to set up 8x L630 in ceiling.

The mains control is on a dimmer.

Firmware all updated.

 

Set up goes quite smoothly but then breaks almost straight away.

Errors include switching all back on when switching off in the group. Losing connection if I switch off at mains. Sporadic flickering.

 

Multiple attempts at deleting from app and setting up again.

 

For each individual light should I be removing whilst off, re-insert then switch back on during set up?

 

Should the mains remain on at all times to just control on and off via app? Should it lose connection if I switch off at dimmer? 

 

Any thoughts appreciated:) cheers

The power supply should always be on for smart control, otherwise, the smart bulbs will disconnect from WiFi, they will not be available in Tapo App until the power and network connection restore.
