Hello

Having WAN4 and WAN5 in load balancing and WAN8 in backup mode of WAN4+WAN5, why

there a lot of traffic in WAN8? WAN8 are attached a 4G router and there shouldn't be so much traffic.

In two weeks, more than 1GB (my 4G line is limited to 10GB monthly). No problems on WAN4 or WAN5 in this time. I think that in backup mode there should be less traffic.

How to reduce traffic in a WAN backup?

Thanks

Hola

Gracias

Do you have the primary WAN configured in the load balancing settings?

I can not teach anyone anything - I can only make them think - Socrates

  @KimcheeGUN Yes; load balancing is set in WAN4 and WAN5; WAN8 is set as backup of WAN4+WAN5. My concern is only why there is a 1GB traffic in two weeks if is a backup WAN, traffic should be few KB or zero, in my opinion. My 4G line in WAN8 only have 10GB monthly and should be enough for fall of WAN4 and WAN5. I think is a firmware bug.

  @ILERDENC

Maybe you can check the mode to see if you have set it as"timing", which will keep one link on during a specific period.

And you can also check the traffic of all WAN ports in Status-Traffic Statistics to see if there's something strange.

  @ILERDENC

And you can upgrade the firmware to the latest version first.ER8411(UN)_v1_1.1.0 Build 2020230705
