Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: 1.3.0

I have a Tapo C320WS which will be installed outdoors. There is an outdoors plug socket to use which sits in a plastic box with a cover that closes. But the Tapo plug is too deep to close the box cover. Is it possible to remove the plug and replace and re wire with a standard 13 amp plug which is flatter and will fit in?

Hi,
Generally, we suggest using the original power adapter to power the camera, and we can't promise the performance of the camera and power adapter if you change to another one.

By the way, the original power adapter's output is 9.0 V/0.6 A (DC Power). If you use a different power adapter, please ensure the output is the same as the original one.
