Hello is there any benefit to use mesh technology with wired access points?

P.S.  Also remember MESH in omada isnt Roaming, the two are confused quite a bit..

 

Roaming is the ability to work as one network and move users about, Omada can do this.

 

Mesh is simply the ability for AP1 to talk to AP2 over WiFi without a cable connection.   Its slower and not necessary in wired APs

Short answer, no not really..


If enabled Mesh will only take effect should one of your APs lose a LAN connection (become isolated) at that stage it can then mesh the isolated AP.    However, likehood that happening?   minimal so really no benefit to be had
