EAP110 doesn't work with TL-SG1008P
Hi
I bought a TL-SG1008 PoE switch and an EAP110 access point, but the accesss point does not power up with via PoE when connected, nothing.
Are they not compatible?
Is the switch not detecting that the AP want PoE?
Thanks.

It works with the included PoE adapter, but the entire point with a PoE enabled AP was that I can use the PoE port in the switch.
I can't even see a away to force PoE on a port on the 1008 to turn on?

Just to confirm do you have a TL-SG1008PE? That model is the POE model...
The model you mention is the NON POE version: "Hi I bought a TL-SG1008 PoE switch"

If you have the POE version, it seems like the switch may be bad. If the AP works from the injector.

@KimcheeGUN Thanks. I found the issue. The EAP110 only supports passive PoE at 24V, not negotiated PoE at 48V that the switch provides. Looks like I'm stuck with the supplied passive power injector.
