Model: Tapo C100  
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.15

Playback of recording has recently become really choppy. Plays OK for the first 10 secs or so than stops for a few secs then starts again but stops randomly. This continues. Recently updated the iPad app.

Works much better on android.

Reset camera and reinstalled app. 
Any help appreciated.

1. a video clip link showing the phenomena  2. Tapo camera log  3. Tapo APP version 4. model of your phone and its Android or IOS version.

  @Rayjm same has been happening with my camera's too after updating the firmware and ios app. I thought it's the app but I'm not sure and tp link support is least bothered to reply. Let me know if you manage to fix it and how.

Hello   @Rayjm 

Please confirm Tapo APP and device are both up to date and test the Playback on a different phone and see if its related to certain mobile device 

If you have a SD card in the camera, please help enable Diagnose mode for the camera and help collect the log as the above instructions. 

How to Get the Log of Tapo Camera

 

May I know the model of your phone and its Andriod or IOS version, what is the Tapo APP version.

May I know the model of router and network topology, e..g ISP X - Router model <Wireless>C100 

If possible, may I have a short a video clip showing the issue (you may use Google Drive and share to us via private message).

Please share the MAC address of your camera with us via private message, thank you.
