Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.1 Build 20220223 Rel.68551

Hi,

I've 2 ER605 installed on 2 different offices (office P subnet 192.168.1.0, office M subnet 192.168.0.0) of my clients. The devices are configured to connect together via IPSEC VPN. Each device are beyond ad ADSL router configured to set the DMZ to the ER605.

The VPN is connected but I can't ping in any directionsn where is the problem ?

Many thanks

this is not so strange :-) the firewall in the PC blocks remote networks, configure a firewall rule and allow remote networks on the PCs

Dear @trik84,

It's usually caused by the firewall settings on the clients, you may check the firewall on both sides.

On the ER605 router, ensure "Block Ping from WAN" is unchecked under Firewall -> Attack Defense.

On the clients such as a Windows PC, disable Windows firewall in both sides and try to ping again.

  @Fae

Hi, sorry for the late reply . . .
I've unchecked "Block Ping from WAN" from both routers and nothing changes.

So I've tried to disconnect and reconnect the VPN, and than I can ping but only some devices.
The situation is very stranger, for example from office M i can ping the network printer located in office P, I can enter in it's web interface via browser and i can print.

But I can't ping the PC or i can't see shared SMB folders of PC.

In the same subnet I can ping PC and I can access to shared folders.

In office P I can ping and access to shared folders of every PC in the office network, and the same in office M, but i can't do the same across the 2 offices.

What could'be the issue ?

Many Thanks and best regards
