Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20210723 Rel.64359

Our router is connected to an Omada controller (version 4.4.4, build 1.9.1 Build 20210721 Rel.39263), and I have configured the VPN as L2TP with IPSec encryption. I don't see any options to limit the number of connection in the controller interface, and I don't think we have any access rules in place (not sure where to look for that).

There is nothing in the log relating to this.

From what I can see online, the VPN should handle up to 50 connections; what can I do to troubleshoot this issue?

Hi  @j4nd3r53n

You can modify the maximum connection number for each account under VPN User settings page.

Hi  @Hank21,

Thank you for replying! Yes, I found that place, but it doesn't make a difference; in fact this morning it looks like nobody can connect. I ran a packet trace with wireshark and it looks like the initial connection attempt is simply rejected ; testing with nmap and other tools shows that the relevant ports are not open, so I am beginning to suspect the ISP.

Just a random question... Are you clients from the same public IP address?
