After a random period of time the router stops giving out ip addresses the DHCP server is not accessible so all the clients are unable to access the Internet or anything until router is rebooted

The 2008P is a switch and not a router, switches are not involved in DHCP
if you are experiencing issues with DHCP then i would recommend you check your router
@Philbert thanks for your reply, your right my bad it is a switch, but its the switch I have to power cycle to get everything working again. The clients report the DHCP server can't be found so maybe not a DHCP issue but something wrong with switch.
Has anyone else had issues with switches not working after a few day?
