Can the Kasa KP-405 dimmable outdoor plugin adapter control 12-volt lighting?

I want to know if the Kasa KP-405 Dimmable WiFi plugin adapter is compatible with 12-volt lighting?
in other words, can the adapter dim 12-volt lights that are connected to a 12-volt transformer?

KP405 plug comes with a dimmer based on TRIAC and the lamp (with dimmable bulb) needs to connect to the plug directly so the dimmer could control power/ current goes into the bulb. A transformer between lamp and plug could affect or void the dimming feature.
