KL430 Light Strip extendibility

Just joined here so sorry if this has been asked before but I'm getting mixed responses elsewhere.
I recently purchased the KL430 starter kit and I'm looking to extend this, the specs say you can extend up to 10m, although I'm only looking to add another 2m.
Do I need to purchase 2 X KL430e or can I purchase another KL430 (currently the same price although a lot easier to source) and keep the 2nd PSU and controller as spares?
I've seen some responses saying you can, others you cannot. I've seen people also complaining that they have tried to add more than one KL430e and only one of them works.

You can have 2 KL430 connected, and left one spare power adapter/ controller, that would be a total of 4 meters.
