Hi.

I have this issue with current version of Omada Software Controller on Windows version 4.4.4 that when I import PNG logo then apply, the supposedly a transparent background becomes a solid black color.

I've reported this issue to the R&D team and they have located the problem. It's planned to be fixed in the subsequent firmware upgrade.

Update: Omada Software Controller v4.4.6 has been released on October 11, 2021

I realised I have the same problem as of today. Running 4.4.4 on OC200 and getting the solid black background with .png files. Any news of a fix on this?

@duchycomputing

I haven't heard any news yet. So, the quick fix I did was matching the selected color of background to the logo's.

@.Don Cheers, Yeah that's not going to work in my case as the businesses have multi coloured (picture) backgrounds. I'll have to just jpg it until they fix it :(

@duchycomputing your welcome. I planned to put a multi color background too but since I noticed this recurring bug, I decided to use a solid color until they roll out the fixes.

Btw, I just re-read the message and 4.4.6 has been rolled out.

Yeah hopefully soon. I'm not going to hold my breath as the firmware updates for other products such as the new wifi 6 range (EAP620 HD etc) don't even support mesh as of writing.
