Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.1.1 Build 20230115 Rel.77774

@Fae

Was previously testing 2.1 beta and already got this strange background in the GUI which makes config super hard to read.

Now successfully upgraded to 2.1.1 but this background is still there.

What is it???

What I noticed:

As long as the box is running on its default IP config of 192.168.0.0/24 - all is fine and there's the usual "just white" background.

As soon as I switch the config to 192.168.1.0/24 or 192.168.3.0/24 - immediately after re-login to the GUI I get this "Confidential - Only For Test" background.

Please advise.

Update:

Box reset to factory defaults and only thing done thereafter:

1. Create new username/password (have to)

2. Run Quick Setup for WAN port (Dynamic IP, internet connection fine, done)

Now:

3. Change LAN IP to 192.168.3.1 and adjust DHCP pool accordingly

NOTHING ELSE changed at all.

In Windows, ipconfig /renew and re-login to 192.168.1.3 immediately shows "Confidential" background.

No good :-(

  @shberge

The classic one...

Don't wanna know how many more times in my life I will step into this bl**dy trap.

Thank you!

  @phongtom Thanks but for whatever reason this didn't help.

Ctrl + Shift + N (new incognito window) did the trick however.

My own fault...
