Can I use TL-R605 as a dial-in VPN client to my work?

I work remotely and use VPN to connect to our corporate infrastructure. I do not have much information about our network. Only the stuff that is needed to set up VPN connection. The problem for me is that our corporate VPN uses very old tech. L2TP/IPSec with 3des-sha1-df2 and this makes it very hard for me to connect from my Linux desktop as DF2 gets rid of major VPN clients. Native Windows 10 VPN client connects well.
I have no control over VPN server.
I see that TL-R605 supports L2TP VPN connection and DF2 encryption. Can I use this device as a hardware VPN client to my office VPN? If so, how do I go about and do that?
What information I posses:
The gateway FQDN and IP
pre-shared key
username
password
The 3des-sha1-df2 is a kind of old encryption type for Ipsec, and this router can support it, no matter you make it as an L2TP VPN Client or a IPsec Client.
