Right. I've had a KS200 and KS100 security camera for about one year now and suddenly they are neither able to connect to the cloud to view recorded material nor are they able to manually record any videos. When pressing the record button it buffers for a second then nothing. I've tried reinstalling the app, reconnecting the cameras, nothing works. We have great WiFi. Both cameras have also begun stuttering and randomly freezing when opening the app. 

 

Are these cameras a 1-year lifespan product and you're expected to have to buy new cameras every year or what?

To better help with the problem, can you help confirm some details here: 

For " neither able to connect to the cloud to view recorded material " is there any Error message when you try to view recorded videos?

When you try to record the video manually, was your phone connected to local WiFi network, or connected to outside wifi/ using 3G/4G mobile data?  

May I know the model of your cell phone & its Andriod/ IOS version?

Kasa app version (make sure it's the latest in APP store or Google Play):

May I know the model of your router, did you use change any settings on main router recently?  Thank you !

When I try to view clips from the live view page it says "something went wrong" and if I go to the archive it completely blank. 

 

I have a Samsung galaxy s10+ and my husband has one of the newest iPhone models, same issue on both. We use the in-house WiFi run through an Asus RT-AC65P router and no settings have been changed recently. Both phones have the most recent updates as does the kasa app. The issue is the same if we change to regular mobile Internet or if we go out and connect to some other random WiFi at work ie.
