Hi,

The ease with which I am able to connect to view my live cam footage from my app is wonderful. It also begs the question on security of the cameras and if my personal life at home is on display at someone who managed to find a loophole in my network or the Tapo app.

If I have programmed Tapo c100 to record 24/7 on the sd card, will it stop recording to the sd card if I disable it's access to the wifi network?

@Pjn Hello,

Tapo Camera requires Internet to synchronize time from NTP servers.If you disable Internet access on Wi-Fi network, 24/7 continuous recording will still work but the camera could not get correct time from Internet. Hope this help answer your question.
