Make devices connect to the best EAP

Hi
What are the best settings to use so devices in hard to reach areas connect to the eap that has the best signal?
Cause as things stand right now I am having devices who are not connect to the eap which is the closest to them, thus not getting the best connection

Hey
Are you using a OC200 or Software Controller to manage the APs? If so try enabling FAST ROAMING under site settings, this will add 802.11K/V - K will aid in roaming schedule when signal or quality can be improved by moving AP.
If the devices are standalone you would be better setting a force disconnect policy when the SNR gets to a certain level, say -80db. This would however need to be done on each AP seperately

I would recommend turning Forced Dissocation ON.. This will remove the clients ability to choose when it roams and allow the controller to force it.
As a rule of thumb, client will hold onto one AP until the last breath so forcing their hand is a good option. However not all clients support this so non-supporting clients will continue to do their own thing.. but generally better have this enabled
