Help,

 

I have 2x KC100 Cameras. Previously these were connected to my Airport Express with no issues until my router died. I know have an Asus RT-AC88U router, and for the life of me I cannot get them connect. When I first tried to connect one of them did connect and then they dropped off.

 

Using the Kasa app, the phone sees the cameras I can go through the setup up the the point where I enter the WIFI details and then fails. At this point I can see it pop up in the device list on the router.

 

I have done a soft and hard reset, I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I have tried an different phone and on an ipad.

 

Any ideas?

So I turned on the guest network , connected my phone to it and ran the setup. When it came to choose the wifi network i chose my normal SSID. and that seemed to work. but when i turn off the guest network it stops working, when i turn it back on it works. When it is working the camera say they are connected to my normal ssid. I have no idea whats going on

Hello, what about the current led status of the KC100? 

 

Do you use the same network name for normal wifi and guest network? Right now, does the camera connect to the normal wifi? 

 

Is there any error message when you enter the wifi details on the kasa app?
