Me and my colleague are trying to setup a network for a small restaurant.

Our idea is simple and explained in a FAQ on the website

We tried to rebuild it like the FAQ says because this is our plan for the restaurant.
However we don't own the 9 port switch used in the FAQ.

Our Idea is theoreticly more simple but doesn't seem to work.
I have made a diagram which should clear your minds up.







So we want the internet connection come in on port 1. MODEM/ISP "Cable" PORT 1
PORT 8: Will be a AP which can be used by employee's and guest.
PORT 5+7/ Wil be connected to a printer and computer for Employee acces
PORT 6: Will be a random ethernet port for guest.


So we followed the plan from the FAQ and we managed to accuire all the needs but...
I'd reccomend reading the FAQ.

The ports 2-3 on the switch were ABLE to communicate with eachother and port1(Modem).
But were not able to communicate with 4-8 as requested.


Port 4-8 was able to communicate with all pc's(diferent switch) in our network. and was able to acces the internet.
Port 2-3 was able to communicate with all pc's(different switch) in our network, expect PORT 4-8. But wasn't able to acces the internet.
Port 2-3 was able to ping the modem.
Why can it not acces the internet?
