Unable to ping second TL-WA7510N from outside of System Tools

I have a short network set up to share my internet in my house with my garage, using two TL-WA7510N access points. Both of which are set up in Bridge Mode to each other. These are the settings:
Transmit Power: 17dBm
Channel: 149:5745MHz
Mode: 11NA HT40
Max Tx Rate 150Mbps
Distance Setting: Indoor (as total distance is only about 30m).
DHCP: Disabled
Wireless Max filtering enabled (although this didn't affect the issue I'm having).
I'm getting strong signal (100%) and I can access the internet fine from the shed. I can also ping the second AP from the first, inside the System Tools (192.168.1.254). The second is set to 192.168.1.253. However, I cannot ping or log into 192.168.1.253 from the cmd, or from any other devices on the same network. And I cannot ping any devices which are connected to that network down there, however the internet is working fine.
I could previously connect to it, but not anymore. Not sure why not? Is there a way to allow these connections?
I plan on having a NAS down the back, and if I cannot connect to it, it's not much use.
Any help would be appreciated.
