Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.2.6 Build 20240718 Rel.82712

Hello,

Is it possible to force certain ports through VPN whereas let others roam freely?
IE: port 2,3 through VPN and 4,5 not through VPN?

Thank you.

yes and no, I don't know which VPN you have configured, is it site to site IPsec you can do that but you have to create a VLAN and select this VLAN for the ports, then you set up the VPN from this VLAN, the same with OpenVPN, if you use Wireguard it is not possible.

policy routing can only be used on L2TP or PPTP, and WAN but with policy route you cannot define LAN ports, only ip group, ip port group.

policy route will be coming to OpenVPN and Wireguard soon.

Well I have a IPVanish premium account and it offers; OpenVPN, socks 5 proxies and WireGuard. I have successfully setup the OpenVPN Client on the er605 but then everything was being routed through the VPN. As for the policy routing, I wasn't able to find where to specify the use of the VPN, could you clarify where this setting is located at? Thanks in advance.

Not gonna be doable at this moment.
OVPN with Policy Routing is not possible now.

Since you asked how to, see this: How to Set Up Policy Routing
