Hi @tessierp,
I've used the Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX in a different model, but someone else left a review for this fan that they used it in the model you have. Apparently the original fans make an unpleasent sound. The fan connector will probably have a glob of glue to keep them in place, so be prepared to carefully cut/pry the glue away to disconnect the fan. My fan status was Failed and then displayed as Normal after the replacement. This will likely also void your warranty if that matters to you.

@D-C I'm aware of a modification where there are two options involving the Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX.
Option 1) Move pin 1 to pin 3 and vice versa. However this will prevent the switch from notifying me if the fan doesn't spin.
Option 2) This one isn't clear to me and no one provided schematics but it involves using what is done in option 1 except that the yellow connector needs to be connected to some capacitance in order to have the "fan not spinning" detected.
Suffice to say that option 2 is less than appealing to me.
I don't mind the sound to be honest and all I would like is to know what is the make of the original fans and where I can order them, if anyone knows I would appreciate it.

@tessierp, my original failed fan was a Runda RS4020b12d-RA and the Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX plugged in without any mods. My switch was a different model, but this is what worked for me.

@D-C Thanks for the info!!
Would you mind telling me which version / model of the switch you had?
Thanks

@D-C Different than what I have so I would have to apply mods to the Noctua which is too bad.. Alright then, will get those original fans ordered..
