Hi Support

For: TP-Link EAP110-Outdoor 300Mbps Wireless N Outdoor Access Point.

I have a wireless router in my house and a security camera(not wifi) at my front gate (has power sockets available)

Can I ether connect the securty camera to this EAP110 at my gate and send the video stream / data wirelessly to my router/network?

Any assistant is appreciated!

Thanks

d

That would require EAP to be set up in so called Client Mode. So it receive WiFi signal and share the network via it's LAN port.

I don't think such feature is supported by EAP110, no.

The only thing you could do in that case (as I think), is to have two TP-Link EAPs, one at your house, second one at your front gate. Connect those in a Mesh, then the LAN port of EAP at the gate will behave as expected in your post.

In that case you need two EAPs (home and gate) because Mesh functionality works between devices of the same brand.

Cheers.
