I'm looking for a good solution to do content blocking on my home, ER605 router.

I need family-friendly blocking for the grandkids.

Hi @WiltecDavid

Thanks for posting in our business forum.
As MR.S stated, simply changing the DNS is the easiest way. Most DNS providers offer a family or child-safe DNS address to prevent adult and harmful contents.

The router is capable of DPI or IDS to prevent some bad contents. But if you want to get the best of it, implement the DNS along with these features.

Or for an easier setup, you can consider the Deco series where you have the online update on the database frequently to maintain a safe browsing all the time.
