EAP660 POE module not working
Hi, I have 2 EAP660 Access Points that have stopped working via PoE after approximately 2 years of use. I have tried different cables and the APs still do not work on PoE. I have checked the PoE ports on my TP-Link switches and they are all working perfectly. The only way I can get the APs to work is to power them with the power adapters. However, there are no outlets near the APs final locations. How can I get replacement PoE modules for my APs? Kind Regards, Dan

Hi @dzakula
What's the model number of the POE switch you are using?
Is there any devices newly added into the network?
If unplug all other devices from the POE swtich, and only power on the EAP660, will it work?
If still the same, you may contact your retailer to check the warranty. Or as D-C said, to get POE injectors, such as TL-POE160S.

Hi @dzakula,
It's very odd both would stop working. I'm not aware of any way to just replace the POE part of the AP, but you could always get a few 802.3at POE splitters with the barrel connector.

@D-C Thank you for the info, I will investigate the splitter option. Yes it is odd that two failed, I actually installed 3 at the same time and one is still working. Thanks, Dan

@dzakula, I'd still be very suspicious about two out of three going bad at the same time. Not sure how you tested the POE ports on the switch, but try plugging the bad AP into the port used by the good AP if you didn't do that already.

@D-C Yes, I did test the switch ports by plugging working PoE devices into them and they worked ok.

@dzakula, a like for like compare would be best just in case the other POE devices used to test don't have the same power requirements. Worth checking to isolate the problem to the 660s.
