Hello everyone.

 

Recently I purchased an ER605 v2 router, but unfortunately I encountered an issue with it - Internet drops out every 10 minutes or so. My network setup is Fiber optic - ONU terminal from the ISP - ER605 v2 router - Desktop PC. Everything works fine on my old router and the Internet connection is stable.

 

What I've tried so far:

 

  • every firmware version since 2.2.3
  • disabled Load Balancing
  • disabled Enable Application Optimized Routing
  • configured manual Online Detection using ping to 1.1.1.1
  • set Online Detection to be Always Online

 

but to no avail, the problem persisted.


For some reason the log file cannot be uploaded here, so here is a snippet of the logs:

I was able to fix the issue by checking the 'Get IP using Unicast DHCP' box on the WAN configuration page. Now DHCP client obtains the IP address within a few seconds after attempting to renew it.
