Hello Everyone,

I have a problem related to connecting to a host on the LAN using an external address.

I have configured a web server in the LAN and forwarded port from WAN to the server.

When I connect to the server from outside the LAN it gets connected, but when I try to connect to the web server on LAN it does not get connected.

Jarek

For anyone who reads this:

First things first, the router supports the loopback.

The situation for this thread is that the OP has two NATs. The second router is the Omada routerand he wished the NAT loopback to work.

Unfortunately, we are not able to NAT loopback in this situation. It is not a loopback scenario, and the problem is no longer about loopback.

The router does support NAT loop back. For this problem, we thought it was related to the configuration. Can you show us how you configure port forwarding? Are you using WAN IP+ port number to access the web server inside the network? Or do you use domain?

Is it possible to redirect an external DNS address to a local IP address? As it is with other manufacturers in the HOSTS section.
Only if I have external redirects to different ports on several devices then the static assignment in hosts will always redirect me to only one device.
The best solution would be a working loopback.
