what type of cable is used to supply POE ? cross or patch ?
i must cover a 50 meters ( 164 ft )

that means nothing, patch is to crimp cable, and is crossover or straight

dont know i always crimp my cat 5 cable.
i have mine with a 50 mts cable see photo i always use 568B wiring on both ends that would be straight
cant answer if you can use crossover cause, never used.
