Model: CPE210
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi ,I have a holiday lodge at the bottom of my garden, I want to give my guests free WiFi.

So I bought 2  Tp-link CPE210 thinking I could have it linked wireless from my house to the lodge .I haven't got a clue how to get it up and running.

Do I need a  earthanet cable at both ends or can I set it up without cables?

Do I need a router in the lodge ?

M

Thanks Debbie 😊

  @debbbie

To discover how to set up the CPE product and build a point-to-point network, please click on the links below.
With an emphasis on topology, this link describes how to set up a point-to-point network:https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1226/
It is obvious that an Ethernet cable is needed to link a router or access point to the CPE at your lodge. The access point or router can help you disperse the WiFi signal.
This website details how to access and configure the CPE product:https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1226/
The same configuration can be used to set up two of them, one in "Client" mode and the other in "Access Point" mode.
